How we roll!?

We pick kids up from school, load them with healthy snacks, do our bike checks then hit the trails until 5:30/45pm.

Starting the Term 4, we run:

- Beginner Tuesdays

- Intermediate Wednesdays

- Intermediate+ Thursdays

Book as a drop in or for the whole term for just $25 per session per child.

School pick ups - sorted!

We pick up your kids straight from school, load up the bike trailer and head in to meet the team:

- Hawea Flat: 2:45pm

- Holy Family and Take Karara: Just after 3pm

- Wanaka Primary and Mt Aspiring College: meet at the Club

After session pick ups - easy!

Parents can choose to:

- Pick up from Kids Club at Wanaka Primary School

- Have your child bike home from either of the above

We have a Whatsapp group for each day so you can remain up-to-date on any changes and details on the days session.

What to bring?

Each session, you'll need to bring:

- A working bike with good brakes (this can be dropped to school in the morning or throughout the day anytime)

- Safety gear (helmet, toed shoes, gloves recommended)

- Small bag to fit water & any extra snacks

- x1 inner tube (we carry repair kits too if you don't have one yet)

- Medication required? Download and fill out a consent form here and please provide it to us on the day of the session.

Bikers will take their school bags with them in the van but aim to be as self sufficient as possible.

What session is right for my child?

If in doubt, just call us on 021 289 2771

Beginner: Comfortable riding on gravel paths unassisted (think the outlet or millennium tracks). We will explore Wanaka's trail network, building confidence whilst developing bike balance and braking skills.

Intermediate: Comfortable on single track trails with the confidence to ride the likes of deans bank, even if fitness or strength prohibits a full lap. We will be building on skills from the beginner group exploring the limits of shifting weight on the bike and translating it into cornering, climbing, descending and jumping.

Intermediate+: Comfortable on blue grade 4 single track with experience riding grade 5 black trails (think the trails coming down from the summit of sticky). We will focus more on individual goals with this group by hunting out specific trail features we can build skills to ride anything in the Clutha Basin!
